Happy Holidays! There aren’t many things better than coming together with loved ones to celebrate life and share yearly traditions with one another. Plus, it’s always nice to have something to ease the stress and tension that’s sometimes caused by being around family for too long.

Now it wouldn’t be wise to overdo it and get too high for your holiday celebrations. But a quick puff to decrease social anxiety and eliminate stress could be the perfect addition to your festivities this year. To help you navigate the holiday season, whether it’s to manage your relatives, enhance your holiday activities, relax, or spark creativity, here are a few strains to pair with the holiday season.

Christmas Tree

Ever wanted a Christmas tree you could smoke? Well look no further! Christmas Tree is an indica-dominant hybrid that packs a full-bodied pine scent and flavor with notes of fresh herbs and spices. A Pine OG Phenotype, Christmas Tree is one of the most festive strains in existence and is sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

SnowDawg

SnowDawg

A sativa-dominant hybrid, SnowDawg is an uplifting, almost euphoric strain that gives consumers energy, positivity, and creativity. Featuring a complex aroma described as softly sweet yet earthy especially at first, it breaks down into a chemical and earthy citrus smell and taste.

Christmas Cookies

A cross between Cookies and Cream and Green Ribbon, Christmas Cookies (Also sold as Xmas Cookies) is a balanced hybrid strain that boasts a flavor profile of a full spread of baked holiday treats. If you’re looking to cut down on sweets this year but still indulge in some holiday flavors then Christmas Cookies is the perfect choice for you!

Purple Voodoo

Purple Voodoo

Unlike other strains in the purple family, Purple Voodoo is a straight down the middle hybrid with both energizing and narcotic effects. With a scent suggesting incense, it turns spicy, sweet, and earthy in consumption. This strain provides an excellent combo of sedating and energizing effects.

Candyland

Candyland

Coming in at 75 percent sativa and 25 indica, Candyland is an excellent mood enhancer that may also help with muscle tension and relaxation. Its smell profile is described as sweet like candy, fruity, fuel-y and earthy.

Chocolate Chunk

Chocolate Chunk

Musky to the nose with sweet and herby overtones upon grinding, this potent indica (believed to be 100 percent) offers a warm and relaxing body feel. Chocolate Chunk invites a strong sense of calm and relaxation that won’t take you all the way to couch lock.

ACDC

ACDC

For those of you wishing to skip the high and evoke the anti-anxiety and anti-inflammatory qualities of the non-intoxicating cannabinoid CBD, this is the strain for you. ACDC smells like lemon and cherries before grinding, then converts to a woodsy smoke that keeps the sweetness of the cherries.

Kush Mints

Kush Mints has become one of the most popular strains in legal cannabis markets for its robust flavor and full-bodied effects. A cross between Bubba Kush and Animal Mints, Kush Mints offers consumers a harmony of holiday flavors like mint, earth, coffee and cookies. It’s also known to provide rather heavy effects and a strong body high that is sure to keep you elated for the duration of your holiday celebrations.

King’s Kush

Kings Kush

Hailing from the OG Kush and Grape Ape line, the OG comes out strongest in this indica-dominant hybrid. With a sweet and spicy aroma and incense-heavy sweetness, the effects of King’s Kush range from relaxation to mood elevation and mental clarity.

Outer Space

Outerspace

Though this sativa-dominant hybrid is not appealing at first whiff – some say it smells both putrid and fecal – Outer Space gets less pungent with grinding and becomes citrusy and floral upon consumption. Once you get past the smell expect a full-blown sativa experience that is energizing and focused.
