Recreational and medical marijuana are available at licensed dispensaries across Oregon. The state legalized adult-use cannabis under Measure 91, the Oregon Legalized Marijuana Initiative, in 2014.
The state legalized expedited recreational marijuana sales by almost a year with the passing of Senate Bill 460. As of January 1st, 2017 the laws changed, and now only licensed adult-use marijuana dispensaries are allowed to sell recreational marijuana. Oregon medical marijuana patients can also purchase medical marijuana products at select recreational dispensaries at a reduced tax rate. Apart from that, there are 3 med-only dispensaries remaining in the state.
