Appearance
Very golden, when compared to the jar of Super Silver Haze it looked like two metals – Gold and Silver. Compact, dense nuggets with small leaf structures.
Aroma
Earthy Afghani smell.
Flavor
Thick skunk and nutmeg, some hashy aftertaste.
Effect
This is a slightly “stoney” medicine with the heavy amount of amber trichomes, but it wasn’t so narcotic that you go brain dead. This was a nice combo of body warming and mental function.
Overall
The Velvet Haze is a quick medicator and you will feel instant headiness and possible “over-did-it” feeling if youa re not used to this sativa base. The first hour may contain uneasiness but the second is no sluch itself as this strain packs a potency not expected in the run of the mill nugget. In fact, a perfectly grown and handled Velvet Haze would easily get a 2nd Chance at earning an A.
