Arizona legalized medical marijuana in 2010. Although recreational marijuana was on the ballot in November 2016, voters rejected Proposition 205. For now, Arizona will remain medical only.
For the second time in history, Arizona voters rejected a recreational marijuana ballot measure which would have allowed adults 21 years of age and older to posses up to one ounce of marijuana, consume in private and purchase from licensed dispensaries.
