Come join CUCCI in Chinatown for CBD tea and Tai Chi with third generation Shaolin Warrior Monk Shifu Yuan Jing!
Tai Chi which originated in China as a martial art is often described as "meditation in motion". This low impact, slow motion flow takes us through a series of martial arts movements and breathing. From the fluid circular movements to the encouragement of relaxed muscles, Tai chi differs from other forms of exercise as it is accessible to people of all ages and health levels.
Whether you join us for one class or all three classes, each class will help us create of Tai Chi foundation and give you an in depth understanding of basic Tai Chi principles and movements.
Week 1: We will learn fundamentals of basic footwork, hand movements, balance, breathing exercises as well as some partner training.
Week 2: We will review movement fundamentals and start to learn the beginning segment of the Tai Chi flow. Shifu Yuan Jing will share some tips and knowledge to help us with our technique and overall practice.
Week 3: The final week we will continue to bloom as we learn the full Tai Chi flow and perfect our basics!
CBD infused tea, sampling, as well as alternative elevation options are included and will be provided before class. Please arrive 15 mins early for registration and elevation.
