Texas Marijuana Social Lounges
One of the most restricted medical marijuana markets in the United States, Texas is not yet on the path to creating cannabis social lounges where legal consumption can take place. Given that the only legal cannabis product in The Lone Star State is high-CBD, low-THC cannabis oil, there is a significantly lower desire for a safe space to consume cannabis products.
While there are currently no plans for creating cannabis consumption lounges in Texas, it is important to note that the Texas Compassionate Use Act does not have any language about where to consume. Hopefully, this keeps the door open for a further expansion of the Texas medical program and for social lounges to open in the future.
