Dallas is a many storied town. The 9th most populous city in America is home of the Dallas Cowboys, the birthplace of 7-11, and of course, served as the inspiration for the famous TV show (and subsequent board game), Dallas. The Dallas City Council voted to adopt a cite-and-release policy for possession of less than 4 ounces of cannabis, which went into effect December 2017. Penalties still apply, but the policy changes the emphasis away from arrest. Medical cannabis is available only in low-THC form.
