Arizona legalized adult-use (recreational) cannabis on Nov. 3, 2020 with the passing of Proposition 207, the Smart and Safe Arizona Act. Both medical and recreational dispensaries are open.
Medical marijuana was legalized in the state in 2010 under Proposition 203 and since then has generated a thriving cannabis culture in the state.
