Please note that the 150 gram limit is a household limit, meaning that no matter how many adults occupy a residence, no more than 150 grams of cannabis may be possessed.

Adults of legal age may consume cannabis within their own private residences or in select areas where tobacco consumption is also allowed. Cannabis consumption is strictly prohibited in Quebec in all public places that smoking or vaping tobacco is prohibited, as well as within motor vehicles.
