After reviewing The Element Air Naturalizer, which received great marks, we’ve been excited to get our hands on AirRestore’s newest model, the Tempest. The Tempest is an extra-strength version of the Element, boasting increased power and improved technology. There are also several design updates as well, but we’ll get into those a little further down. According to AirRestore, the Tempest is ideal to use in places with dense odors or pollution.

Let’s see how it did in our review!

Functionality

Similar to its predecessor, the Tempest offers superb functionality and is a great product for any cannabis enthusiast to own. When tested in the same home setting as the Element, the Tempest was quite impressive and noticeably more powerful than the Element. Even better? The Tempest operates at a much lower sound level and has no lights either, making it easy to turn on and forget that it’s even there.

After about 2-3 days of plugging in, the air inside the home was fresh and free of the smell of cannabis.

It’s important to note that we conducted our review with one Tempest unit. We’d expect a full home system to make a noticeable impact on air quality within hours of turning on. For any cannabis consumer concerned about air quality and removing smoke odors from their home, the Tempest is a must-buy product!

To help exemplify the power of the Tempest, we hot-boxed several joints within an enclosed room. After 45 minutes to an hour of hazing up the place, we plugged in the Tempest and put it to the test. Similar to the Element, the smoke did not dissipate immediately. However, the smoke did clear out significantly quicker than the Element and only took a couple hours to become fresh once again.

Ease of Use

Like the Element, the Tempest is very easy to use and scores bonus points for the decreased sound level and removal of the display light. To operate the Tempest, all you need to do is plug it in and turn the dial to select your purification intensity.

After a week or so of use, we found the sweet spot for a daily cannabis consumer to be a touch higher than half power. Of course, when the seshes get really heavy we always turn it up to full capacity!

Accessibility/Portability

Aside from the increased power and functionality, the Tempest’s portability and accessibility are some of the best features of the product.

With a USB power connection, the Tempest is extremely portable and can be taken pretty much anywhere.

This is a great aspect of the product as it makes it easy to bring clean air with you wherever you go.

Value

In comparison to other air purification systems, the AirRestore Tempest definitely comes in pretty affordable. And if clean air is important to you, then we’d say it’s an investment worth making. Not only does the Tempest have effective functionality, it is also made in the USA with over 90 percent American parts and comes with a five year warranty.

Overall

At the end of the day, we were super impressed with the Tempest’s functionality. AirRestore has created a very effective product in a compact design that is easy to use and extremely portable. If you’re in the market for an air purification product, be sure to check the Tempest out. With an unobtrusive and discreet design you can rest easy knowing you’ll have clean air without a bulky purification set-up. We really enjoyed the Tempest and think every cannabis consumer should consider owning one!
