Appearance

We all gasped a little bit when we first got a look at this sample, as it’s absolutely caked with tall trichomes just at the peak of ripeness.  The open Sativa-like structure allows you to see every nook and cranny, and the spray of trichomes that occurs when you break any part of the bud is evidence of the same.  It has a definite C-99 look to its coloration, with light crispy greens and peach pistils.  The only flaw we saw with this one (and it’s a big one for some) are the tiny seeds that can be found in places, showing that it either pollinated itself or something else in the room got to it.  This one was almost perfect…

Aroma

Another impressive area for this strain was the aroma, which we all enjoyed immensely.  It’s clearly Cinderella 99-dominant in this area, with a definite pineapple sweetness with a floral background.  When ground, it picks up a sharpness that gives it a lemon-lime type of edge, but if left to sit for a minute or two, it smells very floral.  It was almost more pungent pre-grind, but overall was certainly above-average there as well.

Flavor

Musky and trichome-heavy on the first hit, it was more pleasant, floral, and fruity through the rest of the experience, retaining its taste rather well until almost the end.  Some reviewers reported that the smoke got thick and somewhat harsh towards the end, but otherwise it was not particularly harsh and only moderately expansive, making it a mostly cough-free experience.

Effect

Helped to relieve a headache, and was intermittently effective with muscle tension and pain — otherwise, it provided a solid mental uplift, both in mood and energy level.

Overall

While the look, smell, and duration all have this one pegged as an easy ‘A’, we felt that the tiny seeds could not be overlooked — and simply put, we did not get a ton of medical relief from this one, as most of us suffer from muscle and nerve pain; so that may have knocked it down a peg as well.  That said, if you like a slow-rising but very potent Sativa “crusher”, this will be right up your alley.  We had a little bit of trouble doing much other than simply enjoying the experience, as it had us a bit scatterbrained and overwhelmed at times… okay for a night at home, but probably not the best for trying to accomplish anything.  Cinderella 99 fans who want a little more punch out of that strain will really love this one, as that strain seems to dominate the smell, taste, and appearance.  This one isn’t for beginners, and we see it as more of an evening or day-off type of strain.
