No complaints about the structure — this one was like a brick, with a level of density and dryness that surpasses most of what we’ve seen. If you like a med that will survive the apocalypse, this might be the one for you. For us, the structure was a little too dense, because it was tough to see trichomes at times and it just compressed things too much… combined with the somewhat drab coloration, we didn’t appreciate the visuals much until we got it under the camera. Speaking of trichomes, they were almost all cloudy and at the peak of potency, but many were beat-up or otherwise deformed, perhaps due to bouncing around in a jar during the apparent super-long cure this one had. We also found some very tiny seeds and a hermie banana or two, indicating that this one wasn’t entirely stable during the grow.
This OG had a rather light, spicy aroma that had a faint skunkiness to it as well, but only when in the jar. Once ground up, it increased in pungency slightly but it was just an amplified version of the light spicy citrus that was noticed initially.
Like the aroma, the taste was just very light and hard to detect at times. However, the smoke ws incredibly smooth and not particularly expansive… again, it seems that this one cured for an eternity before hitting the shelf, as there was zero chlorophyll taste or burning on the throat. We wish we got more of the tempting spicy flavor it had, but the smooth experience almost made up for it… very enjoyable.
(We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Mood elevation, body relaxation, mental relaxation, some energy to start, strong ocular effects, some appetite stimulation, and sleep aid as it fades out.
While we weren’t the biggest fans of the bag appeal package this one had to offer, we recognize that our tastes may vary from others who love an uber-dense and well-cured sample such as this. The dryness level seems to have hurt the smell and taste qualities a bit, because they just weren’t very pungent despite being pleasing when we got a taste or a whiff. Despite all that, we appreciated the effects a great deal, as they served to relax us thoroughly without being overbearing (except for one reviewer, who got extremely sleepy late in the duration). Focus was attainable, but this was much more of a strain for a relaxing day off or to unwind after a long day, making us simply enjoy the company of others and feel generally at-ease, with moments of goofy absent-mindness thrown in.
