Appearance

Average trichome count but well cured.  Great harvest time with about 25% ambering.

Aroma

Sweet anise, classic and pungent.  One of my favorites.

Flavor

The classic taste (anise, cloves, slight sweetness) was muted, likely from flush issues as the ash remained black.

Effect

Immediately affects the head, and although various areas across our reviewers, it commonly focuses on the forehead.

Overall

A few of our guys really love the Durban and found this to be a great example of the strain.  The taste was the only real flaw in the sample but it wasn’t unpleasant at all.  As always, if you like a sativa but find Diesels too “speedy” or electric, the Durban is a great alternative.
