Appearance

While the small retail packaging makes it very difficult to have anything but tiny buds in here, we would’ve appreciated having something to really look at, as we’ve seen caviar and ambrosia-style creations in the past which consist of whole nugs.  However, this style seems to be the standard for the industry — a collection of tiny lower buds, leaves, and other riff-raff, soaked with high-grade hash oil, and finally coated in kief.  This one definitely looked intimidating under the microscope, with no visible green anywhere, only an oil-slicked surface loaded with the severed trichome heads making up the kief.  Pretty standard style and appearance here — caviar isn’t as pretty as well-done hash or actual flowers, so there’s not much to live up to though.

Aroma

On the first few hits, this Ambrosia tastes almost exactly like the OrganaLabs CO2 Hash Oil that it’s soaked in, with that pine-influenced sharp flavor that sticks on your lips.  However, past that, it degraded rather quickly, tasting mostly of smoke through the finish.  This was again very standard for an ambrosia/caviar product — smell and taste are really not what these products are about.
