Appearance

This smaple was a blend of greens, but the thing that stuck out was the ridiculous amount of thick, fire-red pistils that covered most of the exterior bud surface.  The trichomes were almost hard to see amongst the forest, but when the sample was cracked open, it revealed an above-average amount of perfectly-timed and well-preserved trichomes.  It was nicely dried and appeared to have been cared for well… nothing amazing here, but a very solid and unique-looking sample.

Aroma

A rather pungent combination of pine, citrus, and soap/perfume (in order of prominence) was the aroma gleaned from this sample.  One reviewer also caught a whiff of the familiar “garlic bud” smell after grinding… it had a nicely sharp smell to it overall.

Flavor

The taste on this one was a little bit hard to place, but carried with it a light sweetness and a creamy, flowery quality to it rather than a sharp one.  It was moderately harsh but felt cool on the throat, expanding readily on larger hits.  It burned to a perfectly bone-white “skeleton bowl”, indicating a superb flush.

Effect

(We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY)  Very strong ocular presence, cerebral and mentally-engaged, energy at first, then relaxation to finish… also showed promise with mild-to-moderate pain relief and appetite stimulation.

Overall

A bit of a weirdo sample, the pistil coverage was almost off-putting but didn’t ultimately indicate any sort of grow issues, as the harvest was timed perfectly and there were plenty of trichomes and calyxes hidden underneath the red hair forest.  The “bag appeal” wasn’t the best around, but it provided a very potent (almost too much so in the 15-30 minute area) experience with a bevy of medical qualities.  If you enjoy a Sativa that has a bit of a crushing element to it and some power, this is a good choice… we’d recommend it for medium-to-advanced patients, as the initial potency can be a little much.
