We are Oregon's original dispensary. The first Human Collective opened to medical patients in 2010. Since then, we have helped pave the way for the legalization and regulation of both medical and recreational cannabis in Oregon. Our directors, Sarah Bennett and Donald Morse, stay at the forefront of Oregon’s emerging cannabis law. We only accept quality products into our dispensary. This means taking the time to get to know our vendors and growers to ensure we are receiving only the highest quality products. The cannabis industry is our passion. We don’t just want to just provide products for our clients; we want to ensure your visit to The Human Collective is a positive, uplifting experience.
My friend and I came on Saturday. I was impressed since I hadn't been in since they remodeled. My friend asked the budtender what was the new strain, and she wasn't very helpful because she kept on saying "Well everything is new." "What's the newest, freshest strain this week?" "Oh, well all of our strains are fresh. If you knew what you were looking for, I could help point you in the right direction." My friend took his time in deciding what he wanted, and she seemed a little restless about that (at least to me she did). I will admit, it was kind of silly that my friend innocently asked about the discount that was going on for senior Saturday. Her response was "Oh, are you 55 and over? I didn't think so. It even says "senior" right there on the sign," even though my friend had said "no no, it's okay." I had to turn around and walk towards the watercooler to keep from saying something in response. My friend said he had never encountered anything like that here before. I can't speak for him, but I'd think twice about coming back. There's no need to be rude and condescending (sp?).
I asked for 1/8th oz and they gave me 3 grams. I didn't notice until I got home. Pretty unacceptable.
I've been going to this dispensary for a long time on and off. I recently renewed my ommp card and paid a visit. I was greeted with a pride weekend sale, as well as an every Friday sale, as well as a happy hour. You can find better quality cannabis in Portland if you know what to look for, but if you want to save a buck and choose from a variety - human collective is a good plan.
5th star would be given if I felt that it was worth traveling to from other neighborhoods in Portland.
A great place to shop. The people are extremely friendly and helpful, really diverse too.
Too expensive, horrible product, better places to shop right around the corner
