New here from SoCal. Stopped in this morning and had a really good experience. Bud tender could not have been more genuinely welcoming and friendly! This will definitely remain my dispensary of choice!

Love this place. But the new remodel will have you questioning yourself. The old setup was better with the counter. I don't want to have to walk around with a glass case access to smells is way more difficult. Not sure what the decision making process was here.

My favorite dispensary! Great selection, honest pricing, friendly staff and they don't forget their medical roots!
I'm going to start out by noting that I still have an original Bloomwell jar that they gave out when they first opened on Division... Loved them then and still love them now!
First, I was at the ground level of the Medical movement, and Substance had never forgotten their medical roots (additional discount on to of tax free...) and for that, they deserve kudos of the highest order.
Second, I've read the owner responses here and now more than ever endorse this organization. While they didn't try to buy anyone off or just try to appease them, they also responded directly to concerns. They care, and that seems more than most organizations these days...

This used to be my FAVORITE shop in town, I highly recommended it, but as a medical patient I have to say it is extremely dissapointing when I buy a product mislabeled with a lower price than I was charged even after 'verifying' the product price with the associate. When I called in about the discrepancy I wasn't even offered an apology, much less any kind of compensation for the mistake. I understand I should have paid better attention to the total but I also feel it is the responsibility to have accurate pricing in store, and this has happened several times. I used to love coming here because as a med patient I felt well cared for. Unfortunately I cannot say that any longer. Not a great way to keep customers happy.
