Finger Lakes Music Comedy and Cannabis Festival

September 25th from 1 pm to 7 pm

The Finger Lakes Music, Comedy, and Cannabis Festival is a celebration and welcoming of legal cannabis to New York State. The six-hour event hopes to be both an easily accessible entry-point for those new to this miracle plant, and a new and ever-expanding resource to long-standing cannabis aficionados. Over 20 registered exhibitors will be onsite with the latest products, accessories, technologies, apparel, and more. In addition to smokeable and edible products, the afternoon will be filled with live music, comedy, DJs, food trucks, raffles, and samples. Plus the first 50 ticket purchasers will receive a complimentary gift bag with various products and samples ($100 retail value), furnished by the Woman's Cannabis Cooperative.

“Celebrating legal weed isn’t just about getting high and having fun,” shares Stoner Morning Show member, Jason Cunnius. “There are so many wonderful benefits from pain relief, anxiety reduction, it’s an appetite stimulant, it’s great for insomnia. We’re still learning more and more about cannabis and its different strains. And yes, we’ll have some ridiculous fun at the festival.”

Scheduled to provide music throughout the day are local acts: Mbusi Ntombela, DJ Ziggy & DJ AA, SingTrece, DJ EvoEvoloution and Precious Gorgeous of Brooklyn, NY. The comedy will be provided by Seth Ruddick, Shirelle Kinder, Luz Michelle, and Mr. Jaxon with more to be announced.

“There is so much artistic talent around the Finger Lakes,” says event co-producer and Comedy on the Commons founder Kenneth McLaurin. “I'm excited about the opportunity for marijuana enthusiasts of all types to celebrate the legalization of cannabis. We are LEGAL, all are welcome! But 21 and over please.”

Brooklyn-based hip-hop artist Precious Gorgeous shares, “After the tough year we’ve had and the uncertain months ahead, we need to come together. We’re celebrating cannabis because cannabis helps us to enjoy life and one another.”
