This hotel was fabulous but definitely not for everyone. It is a very old building which I love. Old style furniture. Modern rustic shared kitchen. Its kind of a hostel but they don't serve food. It is perfect for a inexpensive place to stay when I moved to town and needed to get my bearings. Within walking distance of food, museum, shopping and a park.

Well, first you have to take into consideration that it is historic. That being said, a lot of the history of this place and its potential are lost in Jerry rigged "fixes", we froze the entire night. I was told the vending machines have been broken for awhile and wed at least have coffee in the a.m. $94.00 and not even a clean cup, much less coffee or anyone to help. Don't expect much and you won't be let down. ??

A sincerely beautiful, charming hotel with all the comforts of home. The owner and staff greet you with a smile and offer a wide variety of amenities throughout the day. You will absolutely fall in love with the owners personal interior designing that reminds us of history. If you don't stay there you should definitely stop in and check it out.

Lovely and charming !!! The hotel set up is very communal and straight out of history book with an updated twist. The rooms are very clean and beautifully put together with modern amenities. The staff was wonderful and it just felt like home. ?? We are definitely coming back. -If you do stay at the melrose read the brief history of the hotel near the front door. It is very interesting!!!!
