Claire Porter & Maude Blanchet Live @ The Battery Cafe

Claire Porter is a singer/songwriter hailing from Newfoundland. She's inspired by everything from hard blues to soft folk and mixes all of that inspiration into new songs that sound like you've heard them before. She’s been described as a mix between Judy Garland and Tom Waits. Her strong voice sends shivers down your spine and her melodies take you far and wide, with her Stouts or solo.

Maude Blanchet is a French Canadian who landed in St. John's a couple years ago. Performing most of the time at the piano, she sings folk songs that reminds her of the places she have called home and encounters that made her horizon wider.

Large tables (3-6 people) should be booked ahead of time on Eventbrite. Singles and doubles will be available 2 days before the event.
