A place that prides itself as being the “Home of Toby Kieth,” Moore, Oklahoma is a town known for interesting names. The story goes that the city was given its name when a local railroad worker hung his name on the side of the boxcar he slept in. Veteran’s Memorial Park (renamed from JD Estates Park) in Moore was named, “America’s Favorite Park” by a Coca-Cola competition in 2013 after being devastated by a tornado.
