First settled in 1713, Leicester is located in Worcester County, Massachusetts and is home to just over ten thousand residents. Leicester and a storied history dating back to the American Revolution and as an integral part in the coining of the term "minutemen." Nowadays, Leicester is mainly regarded as a rural and agricultural village with a vibrant culture. Leicester is also the location of Becker college, a growing campus that is a large part of the community. Leicester is home to one of the first recreational marijuana dispensaries to open in the state.
