Glenwood Springs was originally named “Defiance”. Defiance was originally a mining camp full of gamblers, prostitutes and thirsty miners. The city was later renamed Glenwood Springs, and today is a family friendly tourist town located directly off of I-70. Known for its hot springs, there are also a select few recreational marijuana stores to serve you.
