In an effort to ensure public safety and a smooth rollout for legal cannabis, lawmakers in Saskatchewan passed Saskatchewan’s Cannabis Framework. Under the framework, both online and licensed private retail stores are deemed legal outlets for cannabis sales. Adults 19 years of age or older are legally allowed to purchase up to 30 grams of cannabis per transaction from said outlets.
