Gogh Happy With Native Roots Cannabis Co.

A new partnership between Immersive Van Gogh Denver andNative Roots Cannabis Co. invites guests to Denver’s new spectacle of art during private Friday evenings across January. For opening night, Friday, Jan. 14, Native Roots invites media to take part in the sensory feast, which combines Van Gogh’s vast catalogue of masterpieces with music, sounds, light and moving images. All Gogh Happy With Native Roots Cannabis Co. guests receive $50 gift cards at Native Roots, which they can use prior to the event (smoking and vaping is banned at the event); Native Roots swag; and enjoy Immersive Van Gogh Denver late in the evenings — from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., which is two hours later than normal closing time of 9 p.m. in January. In addition, patrons not only enjoy two hours after normal closing hours, they also have re-entry during the two-hour event.

The 500,000 cubic feet exhibit showcases Van Gogh’s signature works, including star-swept evening skies, sunny pastoral landscapes, portraits and still lives. Among the paintings: the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885) and La Chambre á coucher (The Bedroom, 1889). Italian director and film producer Massimiliano Siccardi designed the exhibit, and Italian multimedia composer Luca Longobardi crafted the arresting, ethereal score.
