Cannabis has been used to deal with sleeplessness for tens of thousands of years. So do you have problems hitting the hay? This quick guide will help you get those much-needed Zzz’s and some wonderful, sleepless nights.

Note: Always ask your budtender for suggestions to get the best strain for you.

1. Grand Daddy Purple

This bad boy is a North Californian classic that’s a mixture of Urkle and Big Bud strains. It continues to be a knock out, giving its users a cerebral high with an intense physical relaxation. Typically, Grand Daddy Purple is used to treat pain, insomnia, stress and appetite loss.

2. Skywalker OG

Skywalker is mostly an indica strain that’s a mix of OG Kush spliced with Blueberry and Mazar Kush. The strain typically tastes like pine cones with a hint of hash. Carefully, this strain will knock your socks off and keep you on the couch for a few hours.

3. Alpha OG

Alpha OG is a spin off of the original OG Kush that has won awards for its thick crystal trichomes and strong pine scent. With THC levels as high as 20%, this strain is for those with chronic pain, sleep apnea and weight loss issues.

4. Gorilla Glue

With smooth flavor and a sweet pungent odor, this herb will have you drifting off to sleep quicker than anesthesiologist. It’s a potent strain that’s said to be a mix of Sour Dubb, Chemsis and Chocolate Diesel.

5. U-Dub Purp

U-Dub Purp is a mythical northwest strain that was brought to light from the University of Washington's Cancer institute. This strain is so potent that it’s considered to be the godfather Indica in the industry and gives peace of mind to cancer patients, stoners, and insomniacs alike.
