Happy 4th of July everyone! Yes, Independence Day is upon us and here at PotGuide, we thought we’d switch it up a bit this year. Instead of the same old alcohol-filled day of celebration, we’ve decided to have a canna-tastic fourth! So, if you’re interested in trading your booze for buds, keep reading to find out how to include cannabis into your celebrations for a very ‘mary’ experience!

Incorporating Cannabis into Your Celebrations

Because of its versatility, cannabis makes a great addition to any 4th of July celebration. No matter your personal preference, we believe there’s a way for every adult to enjoy Independence Day and cannabis together in some fashion.

To help you think of your perfect 4th of July canna-combination, we’ve thought of a few fun ideas ourselves. Feel free to use our ideas, put your own personal twist on them or simply create your own experience from the ground up. Whatever route you choose, we want to hear about it. Be sure to comment after reading to let us know how you incorporated cannabis into your celebrations!

So, without further hesitation, let’s get this party started!

Quench Your Thirst with Cannabis-Infused Drinks

Now, you might be thinking that if there’s no booze, there’s no buzz and, therefore, no fun. We’re here to tell you that’s not true! In fact, there are many cannabis-infused drink-able options to indulge in this 4th of July – and best of all, none of them will make you hung over!

Call up your favorite dispensary and ask what options they have for infused drinks, you may be surprised with the copious selection of products! Buying an infused drink will not only help you beat the heat and stay refreshed but also will give you a great array of effects – perfect for watching fireworks, grilling some delicious eats or just enjoying time with family and friends.

Light Up the Night with Flower

If infused goods aren’t your forte, then you may want to bring out the smoke-ables. While everyone else is lighting up sparklers, light yourself up a nice joint to reel in the moment. It may not have the same awe-inducing effect as a sparkler, but we’re guessing watching your friends play with theirs might become more visually stimulating.

Looking for a more discreet way to consume your flower? Then try your hand at vaporization. Vaping your cannabis will result in a mellow and relaxing high – the perfect effect for a night of fireworks viewing or enjoying the company of others. Just be careful not to get too high, or you may fall asleep and miss out on the action.

Unwind & Cap the Night with a Dab

As the night winds down, many of us want to relax and get settled for life post-holiday. And if you have a lot on your plate waiting for you at the office, you may want to consider calling it a night at a sensible hour.

That’s where dabbing comes in. Taking a few (small) dabs at the end of the night will help you unwind and get ready for a great night of sleep – trust us, when you see your friends hung over in the morning you’ll thank us! You’ll wake up feeling well-rested, refreshed and ready to take on the day.

If you want to go the concentrate route, we’d suggest selecting an indica or hybrid so that you do not encounter any feelings of raciness or anxiety during the night.

If you have dabbed before and know of any strains that work well for relaxation and muscle relief, now’s the time to break them out and let them go to work.

Whether you choose to consume alcohol or cannabis this 4th of July, please do so responsibly. From everyone here at PotGuide, we wish you an excellent holiday and a canna-tastic celebration of our nation’s independence.
