Typically speaking, movies and shows are awesome to watch while high. Comfy couch, dark room, bowl of popcorn and a really great movie – what more could you want? Well, you should want the best, the funniest and the most visual stimulating movie to truly enjoy your high to the fullest.

Having said that, there are definitely a few that stick out in many people’s minds as go-to flicks to check out when stoned. We’ve gone ahead and listed the top 7 in our book.

Let us know if yours line up.

Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey (National Geographic Channel)

This mind-blowing documentary series is a follow-up to a series that aired in 1980 called Cosmos, A Personal Voyage. Each episode explores space, time and the many laws of nature in beautiful series of imagery and a one of a kind narrative by the genius Neil deGrasse Tyson (who seems to know everything)!

The Last Man on Earth (FOX)

The Last Man on Earth
First premiering in March 2015 featuring a man who survived the apocalypse and travels around the US, Canada and Mexico trying to find another survivor (preferably a woman)! We like this TV series because it’s hands down hilarious. From the well-developed characters to the situations they put themselves in, add this is one to the list.

The Big Lebowski

We bet if you asked 20 people if they’ve seen this film, almost all of them would say yes. That’s because this on of the classics, baby. Watch “The Dude” smoke weed and drink White Russians while trying to find a kidnapped wife of a multi-millionaire. Directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, we bet you’ll enjoy this one.

Fantasia

This movie will bring you back, but paired with an edible or two, you’ll want to reminisce with beautiful images that feature dancing brooms, bright colors, captivating magic and of course, Mickey Mouse.

Good Will Hunting

Talk about an all-star cast! This movie from 1997, features Matt Damon, Robin Williams, Ben Affleck, Minnie Driver and Stellan Skarsgard. It takes place in Boston where 20 year old Will Hunting, an unrecognized genius, meets with a therapist (Williams) to sort out his past and take advantage of his smarts in the future. It was nominated for 9 Academy Awards, which means you should definitely see it.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

The interactions between humans and cartoons will automatically get you hooked on this film, plus the humor will keep you laughing the whole way through. Don’t underestimate it just because it’s half-animated!

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure

This is a true ‘stoner’ movie in our opinion, especially since it features Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as two guys about to fail their history class. To save themselves, they travel through time to different parts of history to help them with their final presentation. Like whoa, dude.
