Like many Alaskan towns, Sitka is an eclectic mix of Native American, Russian, and Pioneer influences. There are 22 registered Historic Places here, including the Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall. Every October, Sitka holds the Alaska Day Festival with educational exhibits and reenactments on display. Sitka has a few dispensaries for visitors to choose from.
