Career Highlights/Overview

Trevor is a content marketing writer who previously taught composition and literature at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Santa Fe College. He now uses his years of experience as an editor and educator to teach people about cannabis.

After graduate school, Trevor took a job in copywriting and public relations for a regional event service, managing social media marketing across five cities. Later, he managed a bar in Florida, assisting with digital marketing and events coordination. He also briefly covered Seattle sports for SidelineBuzz.

Experience

Trevor is a medical marijuana patient who worked through college as both a chef and bartender. He’s created original cocktails and dishes for numerous restaurants, and enjoys cooking with cannabis.

He began studying horticulture by volunteering at the Wilmot Botanical Gardens at the University of Florida, with a particular interest in organic gardening. Upon relocating to Pennsylvania, he joined the board of directors of the Nay Aug Greenhouse Project, where he also helps maintain a community garden.

Education

Trevor earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from The Evergreen State College in 2010, and graduated with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in creative writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013.
