Casey Butler grew up in a small town in Michigan, and has watched the cannabis industry grow throughout his life. He moved to Colorado after graduating college, where he experienced his very first dispensary. He has personally seen many people in his life benefit from cannabis, both medical and recreational.
The people closest to Casey describe him as thoughtful, patient, and tactical. He puts energy into understanding problems before attempting to solve them. He enjoys finding creative solutions to problems and attempts to bring honest value to customer relationships.
Casey has over 15 years of experience understanding and anticipating needs; taking care of people. With years in the service industry, starting his own business working with elementary-aged school children in afterschool programs, and being heavily involved in sales, his experience is well rounded. He enjoys helping people!
Since joining PotGuide in 2020, Casey has helped to overhaul the customer service and customer management systems and the response has been resounding. Customers at PotGuide have never been so well taken care of.
Casey’s approach to customer service is simple; be transparent, anticipate needs, and communicate with respect and authenticity. With a deep love of education, he focuses on how to best present information and value with clarity and context. Working with children refined his communication skills and empathy, and building a business gave him an understanding of customers of every type!
Casey graduated from Michigan State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy.
When he’s not helping PotGuide customers reach their goals, Casey enjoys game design and trying his hand at various tabletop role playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. Additionally, Casey is an avid traveler who finds joy in visiting new places and exploring the scenery. He also dabbles in rock climbing and has a deep interest in cooking delicious foods.
