Southcentral Oklahoma is known as Chickasaw Country for the Chickasaw Nation, whose headquarters lies in Ada. The Chickasaw National Recreation area, roughly 10,000 acres of preserved land, is one of the region’s biggest draws. The area sees over a million visitors per year.

Chickasaw Country is known for its many water features, from Lake Texoma to Turner Falls, making it a popular destination for fishing and boating. The Toy and Action Figure Museum is an ideal place to visit and feel like a kid again (after smoking like an adult). Purchase some cannabis at a Southcentral Oklahoma dispensary, hit the water pipe and hike a waterfall.
