The Vail Valley, which extends over 30 miles from Eagle to Vail, has many options for purchasing both recreational and medical marijuana. You won’t find any dispensaries in the cities of Vail or Avon as they both have laws prohibiting sales, instead most of the options are located in unincorporated Eagle County.
If you’re flying into Eagle County airport or are approaching Vail Valley heading east on I-70, then Sweet Leaf Pioneer in Eagle will be the closest dispensary. Further east in Edwards you will find a couple more options, although only one is recreational.
The main cluster of dispensaries in the Vail Valley are located in Eagle-Vail, which is 8 miles east of Vail Mountain Resort and just a few miles west of Avon (Beaver Creek).
