Ordway is a Statutory Town that is the county seat and most populous town of Crowley County, Colorado, United States. State Highway 96 runs along the southern edge of the town, leading west 49 miles to Pueblo and east 60 miles to Eads. The community was named after George N. Ordway, a Denver politician. A post office called Ordway has been in operation since 1890. Ordway may be small, with a total area of 0.8 square miles, but like most places in Colorado, there’s cannabis available for purchase.
