Yes! Adults 19 years of age and older are legally allowed to cultivate up to 4 plants per household. All cannabis plants cultivated in NWT must be grown from legally obtained seeds and be grown indoors or in a yard located on private property.

Yes, transporting of cannabis within NWT is legal as long as the possession limit is respected. When transporting cannabis through NWT, the products must be in a closed container and completely out of reach from the driver.
