Cottonwood is a small city located within the Verde Valley, about 100 miles north of Phoenix. Cottonwood is directly adjacent to the Verde River, and is in close proximity to the Grand Canyon, Dead Horse Ranch State Park, and Sedona. The city is rich in southwestern history and features one medical marijuana dispensary.
